PGMS EAST is on a roll for the 2011-2012 school year.  Here is what we have going on:

2011 Riparian Project



7th graders Darby, Michael, Dalton S., and Dalton B., helped organize the 2011 Riparian Project in conjunction with the Illinois River Watershed Partnership and the Arkansas Forestry Commission.  They boys, along with community and school volunteers, planted over 800 trees along the banks of the Illinois River inside the property boundary lines of the Battlefield Park.  The roots of these trees will strentghten the river banks which will slow down the effects of erosion and they will also filter out pollutants that are carried in the water.  Great Job Team!!!

EAST Night Out

 EAST Night Out will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010- This is a mandatory attendance assignment by all EAST students as they will present their projects to everyone who attends our event. Complete student participation at this event will earn your child/children a 100% on their upcoming 9 weeks examination in EAST. Come and see what the next generation of young people are up to!

It's Raining Projects

WOW- PGMS EAST is on a roll with projects for the 2010-2011 school year... here is what we are working on so far:
